I was lucky enough to be introduced to The Specials at a young age. A friends mum grew up in London in the 70/80's and managed to see just about every punk/ska/reggae group that was around back then and still had all her records. Before we got into going to parties we'd always cruise around my mates place, get drunk, throw on some records and crash out ready for an early surf the next day. good times.
